I am excited that he got his grades in order and wants to come back. But I'm really surprised. I thought he would go somewhere else.

@AdamJardyBSB follow him and you'll see his post.

It's also being reported by scout if you have a scout account. Can't link premium articles.

That's great news.

This offense would be even better with a solid #3 option that isn't a TE/RB. Right now no young WR or Washington wants to take the role.

I agree devil. Brown and fields show flashes of it but no one seems to put it together consistently.

I'm happy that he got it together. Hope he does well wherever he ends up and I'm excited that it's looking like Ohio State.

Not a surprise, it will be nice to have another reciever that can run good routes and catch the ball. Everyone except for Saine, Posey and Sanz haven't shown they can do that yet. Saine should be our number 3 reciever right now.

I have mixed feelings on this. If he weren't Chris Carter's son, he doesn't get a second chance, but the fact remains that he is.

He deserves a 2nd chance if he throws this one away than its on him.

Carter is on his 3rd chance. His 2nd chance was returning to school after flunking out last year, his third was summer school.

Again, I have mixed feelings. He's an 18 year old kid who hopefully realized the opportunity here and takes advantage of it. Fact remains he's a good football player, so it's good news that he's coming back.

I agree that we do need a #3 option that is a WR, but in all honesty I don't think Tress feels like any of those guys (Washington and the freshman WR) are capable. He really hasn't given them the chance early on in games. Seems like he is content using Stoneburner as a flex guy.

Hopefully Stoneburner is back healthy and can play this, after turning his ankle against EMU.

Heard it was a high ankle sprain, so I would imagine he's out at least this week's game.

If you would have read up on this, you would have seen that it was his father Chris who jerked Duron out of OSU and put him where he is now. The intent and agreement always was, that he would return to OSU once he straightened up. The school he is at is located in the middle of know where in Kansas. Chris put him there for a reason, to teach him a life lesson.
I thought it was great. This isn't/wasn't about second chances at OSU. When Chris pulled him out, Tressel told him from the getgo that he would be welcomed with open arms when he was ready to return.

You do realize he wasn't eligible to play right? Of course his dad pulled him out of school.

Yes, of course I knew that. And you can believe what you will as far as why dad pulled him out. I mean, he could have put him in another cushy situation/ place. But he chose not too. And many players who aren't eligible do stay where they are. Olineman Hall being one of those.

Don't try to spin it. It is what it is. He was ineligible and had to go elsewhere to get eligible again. He went to a JUCO and planned on coming back after showing up to class for a semester.

As for Hall, at least he made it through his freshman season, and I think he was "eligible" but was borderline. I don't think you can be considered ineligible by a University and use a redshirt for it. The fact that he is indeed using a redshirt tells me he was eligible at the time.

Don't give Chris Carter credit for doing anything here, other than having a good enough relationship with the University to get his son another chance.

So how is Keith Wells getting his second chance?? Cris Carter taking care of that to?? Carter was immature, and not cutting it in the classroom, it's not like he was out breaking laws and getting in trouble. There's absolutely no reason why Carter or any other player w/ academic problems shouldn't get a 2nd chance if they get their problems straightened out.
