Seems like a "feel-good" gesture to off-set little things like how, according to Alexa, their yesterday traffic rank was over 200,000 positions worse than the day before. Pay to join and $2 of that $12 goes to a kid who needs assistance! Vets join for free!
By Christmas, David Letterman could do a Top 10 list of ways they've said they screwed up without actually saying it....and he'd probably have to cut 5-15 things out to keep the list at 10.
