Sure, however you technically have the exact same rights to marry as I do. Personally I'm all for civil unions as I have expressed numerous times on this thread as long as churches aren't forced (by law or civil suits) to perform gay marriages. It should be up to the specific church.
2. Unless you live in Florida, you are lying through your teeth. Florida is the ONLY state that gay adoption is illegal. Not "some", just one.
3. Gays are not banned from joining the military. You are stretching the truth. Sure, you currently are in a "don't tell" mode, but you are not banned from joining. We all know this is changing.
You're an idiot.
1. Gays don't want to marry someone of the opposite sex. We want to marry someone of our own gender. In most states, we are denied this opportunity.
2. It was just this past November that the people of Arkansas voted to deny gays the right to adopt children. You don't know what you are talking about.
3. You know as well as I do that gays and lesbians are not free to disclose their sexual orientation if they want to be in the military. If countries like Canada can allow non-closeted gays to be in the military, why can't the U.S. with our supposed freedoms do it?
