So, just when you think you have seen everything...

Jacobs is either frustrated or angry, and bounces his helmet into the seats.....

the even more hilarious thing is, when security tries to retrieve it...the old guy in the seats latches onto that thing like it is his ticket to heaven....really hilariously random occurrence...

1. did he ever get his helmet back?

2. just how pissed was Tom Coughlin?, I mean, the guy looks pissed all the time, anyway...

3. how much will the old guy in the stands get for the helmet on Ebay?

4. how many people go to a NFL game and say, "I hope i catch a helmet tonite!"

5. why doesn't Brandon Jacobs just knock over the gator-ade cooler, like most players do, next time...I mean, those helmets are dam expensive!!

thankfully, Cris Collinsworth and Andrea Kremer were all over these shenanigans.............

I didn't click the link but I remember them reporting on this and saying the helmet was retrieved by security and returned to Jacobs. I also think one of them reported that someone from the NFL was going to question the fan to get his side of the story, as there was some jawing back and forth between Jacobs and fans in the area.

Also, after a deep and thorough investigation, it was in fact determined that it was an accident.

“I was a little mad, but to be honest with you, it was a mistake,” Jacobs said. “It got caught onto the sticky leather of my gloves.

“I did not mean to do that and everybody who knows me knows I did not mean to do something like that. The whole world could fall down on me and I wouldn’t have done anything like that.

“I apologize to Indy, first of all, and their fans, our organization. It’s just something that happened that shouldn’t have happened.”

meh....oaky, there you have it...........crisis averted.

Whew, I will be able to sleep tonight. Although I think he may be hiding something. Obviously if the whole wide world falls down on him, he wouldn't be able to throw his helmet. I smell conspiracy.

1. sticky gloves must be outlawed by NFL for safety of fans in first 15 rows.

2. whole wide world falling down upon oneself should be addressed in NFL rookie camp.

3. Tom Coughlin should receive one very large enema to relieve his facial constipation.

4. Indianapolis should rest easy tonite that nasty NY Giants are leaving town.

I would like to add that Coughlin must be relegated to the coaches box or locker room when the temperature drops below 43 degrees. Seeing his face turn that shade of purple due to cold weather/wind makes me ill.

If I were the fan, I would have thrown it back at him when he wasn't looking. I would have then proceeded to run away while peeing my pants probably.

If I were the fan no way I give it back either. A heavy, dangerous helmet was just flung at me. Ill give it back when I get something in return.
