This will be a battle. It's at Kyle Field, and if A&M wants to get to a bowl, they'll have to beat Texas. 6 wins gets them eligible, but this win (7 if they get it) would get them noticed and get them a bid. A&M always plays Texas tough, and for some reason Mack Brown always has trouble at Kyle Field, with the extra motivation of last years ass-kicking to motivate them. I think it'll be a lot closer than 22 1/2, but in the end, McCoy/Shipley probably win it for the Longhorns.

I use to love watching this one but with A&M being so bad more times than not this game does not get me up as much.

Unfortunately, I agree and sadly I think this is how the rest of the country feels about the OSU/Michigan game anymore. I thought it was a HORRIBLE decision by A&M to get rid of R.C. Slocum several years ago. They just haven't been able to find anyone that can maintain the level of success he had, and his teams were almost always competitive against the Big Boys. OSU really has them to thank for knocking off Oklahoma in 2002 to let us go to the NC game late in the season!newarkcatholicfan wrote: I use to love watching this one but with A&M being so bad more times than not this game does not get me up as much.

Yeah I don't think this will be much of a game. But then again, I've been surprised before ('06 and '07)

I actually think this will be a better game than people expect. Texas was in the hunt for a BCS bid in 2007 and lost at Kyle Field against an average A&M team. I at least expect a fight tonight from the Aggies.

I agree with the Ohio State/Mich reference. The only ones who still call it a big game is those who are blind to how bad Michigan along with those who want to say Ohio State under coach little game can win a big game.Red_Skin_Pride wrote:Unfortunately, I agree and sadly I think this is how the rest of the country feels about the OSU/Michigan game anymore. A&M with a BIG strike early. Trailing 7-0, Texas fakes a punt and is stopped short! A&M with the ball, a 7 point lead, and only a few mins. gone off the clock! Could Texas be down 14 before they see the ball a 2nd time?

good start to this game, 7-0 A&M and just stopped Texas on fake punt.

14-7 Texas in the 2nd quarter.
It seems Texas has slowly started taking over after a great start by A&M.

A&M gets uncle mo back and ties this one up, at 14 with a little over 7 minutes left in a very good first half.

A turnover by Texas and A&M uses it to tie things up at 21.

I tried to tell everybody this would not be an easy game. I don't know if A&M can maintain this level of play in the 2nd half, but they're doing a great job right now.

These defenses are a joke. Helluva fun game to watch though. Very exciting first half.

That's why I'm rooting for A&M. Let a real defense from the state of Texas play for a NC.Speedofsand wrote: These defenses are a joke. Helluva fun game to watch though. Very exciting first half.

I love Dr. Lou's message tonite. People criticize him for alot of silly reasons, but you gotta give the man props. He is kind and generous. One of his sons lives here in my town. He is a lawyer. Also calls radio on local high school games.
Happy Thanksgiving
