Did today vs another directional Eastern Michigan? 52-14 was the final in Ypsilanti today.
I'll take the over.

If Tressel had a pair, OSU could score 100 easily, and I'm not kidding.

EMU is THE WORST team in 1-A football. I think the highest I saw them ranked in preseason ratings was 117 out of 120.

Putting 100 points up on the scoreboard is having a pair????

EMU is terrible, probably worse than New Mexico State was last year. Starters should get about 3 series in this game, the first two and one to start the second half.

My Prediction- OSU 55 Eastern Michigan 3

I wish these types of games weren't even scheduled, but all schools do it, fans will show up and both schools will get big paychecks...

It'll be a shutout.....awful special teams included.

I HIGHLY doubt the coaching staff will go beyond 50 but 45-0 is a good bet.

If you think the Ohio game was a cakewalk you haven't seen anything yet. The Buckeye's third team could start and beat these guys by 3 TD's.

EMU is the worst team in college football. But we all know Tressel, 49-0, 2nd string in at the end of the 1st. Halftime will be 42-0, and Tressel's half time interview will be hilarious:

Tressel: Oh its going to be a tough one, this team never stops fighting and they play hard.
Reporter: Coach you've given up 3 yards of total offense and you're up 42-0...
Tressel: The score is 0-0, we'll be fired up in the 2nd half

Gotta love Tressel, best CFB coach period.

There is a Tackle on EMU (doesn't start but he's still on the team) that was walking across campus last Winter and the defensive LB coach saw him and asked if he'd ever played football. The kid had played HS ball at a suburban school outside Detroit but never got any looks although he was 6'2" 255. He was asked on the spot if he's like to give college ball a try and ended up attending Spring practice and made the team. Currently is second team. Can you imagine something like that happening at OSU?

If we don't have at least 250 yards rushing on EMU I will be worried. J Hall and J Berry should score some long TD runs in mop up duty. I say 58-0. Tressle will have the starters out around 42-0. It just depends how much tressel milks the clock and how many first downs EMU can get if any.

Seriously, I am going to say 56-0.

I think the defense will just be that good, special teams need work, but they will hold their own against Eastern, and as for the offense, they will do their part, but even the second and third string and the defense and special teams will all be scoring.

No one is twisting Ohio State's arm to play teams like this. If they really had any balls, they would play a good OOC schedule.

Right because OSU is the ONLY team to schedule teams like this....

Now wait a minute...Alabama only schedules quality OOC opponents like 1-AA Georgia State. LSU will have its hands full with McNeese State. And Texas? The Longhorns stacked their OOC schedule with block buster programs like Wyoming and Florida Atlantic.

When Ohio States starts beefing up their schedule like these great teams then maybe the Buckeyes will earn a set of testicles.

OSU could play Bama, Texas, USC in the same year.

This is what basketball teams do like Michigan state who play 4-5 top 10 teams early in the year before conference play. Makes it fun to watch.

Even if that happens, I don't see the OCC games getting better because of $$$$$. The big schools are going to try to schedule as many home games as possible. The only schools who are willing to always play the big schools on the road is the middle sized schools because of the paycheck they get from it. All schools are making more from the system. Unfortunately, the quality of many games suffers.

They could have put in 11 random fans and still scored. Outside of the HB pass for a TD, they weren't truing to run it up... when the second best team in 1-A plays the second worst, it happens.
