I hope so... you don't want to go into the playoffs playing as bad as they are now.

yeah.....but a 3 run Hr in the bottom of the 1st of the first playoff game and all is wiped away....until maybe Cordero comes in

Not a playoff caliber team right now....bu many games left

need top of the lineup to get on base

Well Bronson tries to bunt Hanigan over and Hanigan is thrown out ... Wild pitch gets Arroyo to 2nd..... Phillips strikes out, But Cabrera singles and brings in Arroyo

1-1 top 3rd

Votto Walks and Rolen singles and the ball is over thrown past the 3B and allows Rolen to go to 2nd

Hanigan single scores Edmonds... pitcher balks and makes it 2nd & 3rd w/ 1 Out... Sac fly from Arroyo scores another run and Phillips is hit by the pitch, Bases loaded w/ 2 out for Cabrera in the 5th w/ the Reds up 7 - 1

Go Reds! Glad to see them put up more than 3 for Arroyo he could have 20+ by now I'd think. Need to get another one tomorrow and put together a little w streak for the confidence. How is Phillips looking?

Phillips is not Phillips still....he's very mediocre offensively right now and we'll need him near his best to have a shot in the playoffs

Mediocre is putting it nicely. Dudes hitting .127 for the month. Hopefully he gets out of this slump before the playoffs start to build some confidence.

I've been critical of him over the years and am giving him a break fore I think he is still ailing with his hand...maybe some mentally.....we need him healthy and he should be resting more than he is and definately down the stretch
