No, there's no ban. I guess it was discussed but it never was passed. I believe that they're reconsidering the issue now, and if they do make a rule, these two schools will obviously be grandfathered in, just like LSU is with every 5 yards being marked on their field.

I think that's right Cat. I-AA schools can do whatever the fuck they want lol. But, I do think that those rules only go for I-A

a. All field-dimension lines shown must be marked 4 inches in width

between the goal lines but shall not obliterate yard lines, goal lines or
sidelines.

Black would look better. The red just isn't 'vibrant'. It's a dull drying blood color.

Jet black would be interesting, though, I agree.
