Just an FYI: this game was postponed until Saturday at 7:30 PM due to severe storms and possibly a tornado hitting Athens HS last night.

Though the game is at Chillicothe... The Plains (location of Athens HS) is still a mess, and who knows if the players could even get in there to get their pads and whatnot. Plus, I bet some of them have enough other stuff to deal with today, they didn't even have school.

NY gave Athens the opportunity to play at Boston Field if needed from what I've heard. Coal Grove at Trimble will be played tomorrow night at 7:30 at Boston Field

Did N-Y extend that invitation to the Bulldogs for the remainder of the season? Athens isn't using that field again this year.

I don't know the exact details, but I'm sure it's for the remainder of the season. The Athens band competition on Oct. 18th will also be in Nelsonville, so I'd assume the football team will use the facility as well

That's awesome. I figured one of the county schools, or OU would step up to the plate.

By the time it was all said and done pretty much everyone with a football field in Athens County offered facilities...

Athens HS will utilize Ohio University's Peden Stadium and Chessa Field for the remainder of their football and soccer matches this season.
