What I don't get is you can still be outrageous and attention seeking while looking good. She is (or was) a naturally pretty girl, but she looks AWFUL in that outfit. Those glasses just don't work for her face.

Back on topic, if I was a security officer and had the choice to detain/arrest her and deal with the paperwork, headaches and media circus (which she wants) or just ignore her....which would you choose?

Haven't read many interviews and don't follow her, but I wonder if she really is this weird. To some extent, it's all an image and persona she is creating. What I don't understand is why she has to be that alter ego all the time, unless she's really enjoying the fantasy. But maybe it's also the case she can't go out in public icognito and doesn't want to get photographed looking an acting normal as it could hurt the image she's trying to create.

Say what you want, but she understands brand and image and is making money hand-over-fist.

I don't think anyone has mentioned what you said. People have a problem with it because it is very likely it's all just an act to sell more CD's. From earlier documentation of her performances pre-"Lady Gaga" she was very normal. Hell, you even have friends from her college years that say she was extraordinarily normal.

I guarantee you, if any regular person of society appeared at the airport wearing what is basically the equivolent to a bra and panties they would be arrested. Why should SHE be treated differently???

On the radio the other day they were talking about her and apparently her "people" are the ones behind this. She isn't very attractive so they had to do something to stand out and created this wild person who would stand out with more than just talent.

I hate her.

Shes the complete opposite of Katy Perry.

Uhhh...since you quoted me, I do have to say that I never said anything that anyone with a brain could consider being along the lines of "she is bad for pop culture" (primarily because I tend to dislike pop culture as it in itself comes off as something that promotes image over talent). Shit...Gaga's act and pop culture are a perfect fit...act unique and outlandish and watch your bank account explode as the lowest common denominator buys everything with your name on it.

All I was saying is that in those pics, she looks like shit, which was more of a response to Snot's virtual (and likely real...) orgasm over his screen at those pics of her looking like she smoked crack all night and has no clue where she's at.
