Quite a piece by Dinesh D'Souza regarding what may be driving obama's anti-business agenda.
Gibbs is already trashing it, but I cannot find much to disagree with; it is a good read.

It is indeed an interesting read. Obviously, the author cannot declare that the viewpoint is fact. Instead, openly says that the piece is based on personal experience and intuitive thought.
If this is something that is truly going on in Obama's mind, it would definitely explain alot.

I'll read the article tonight, but have seen the flak for it. Interesting and controversial to say the least.

I say that because Mr. D'sousa has espoused a number of controversial positions which, IMO, he presents as definitively correct and impregnable. He's suggested that mainstream liberalism is the root cause of 9/11, morality is impossible without God, that African American pride has lead them to be self-destructive, that separation of church and state should not be enforced, that the root cause of Abu Gharaib is sexual immodesty in America, etc.
It's a shame because he'll write something great like "What's Great about America" and genuinely loves America but then will write a that garbage based upon unfettered speculation claiming that President Obama is intentionally undermining America's traditional ideals and attempting to diminish its power and Forbes, a respected magazine, runs it as its cover story. What is the world coming to?
The National Review and a number of conservative authors have rebuked him for his outrageous claims. I mean, it's akin to Forbes running a cover story with a guy claiming the federal reserve's secret bankers assassinated Kennedy.

Yeah....like unbridled free market has been oh so wonderful over the past 5 years. Fuck this author and fuck his cynicism. Big business has bastardized what free markets should be. Funny how the author doesn't mention that Obama has offered huge tax credits for keeping jobs here. The middle finger on this topic is the corporate international interests to the average American citizen...Repub or Dem.......
So Obama layed into those that were responsible for the housing/finance bubble. He didn't do nerarly enough.
