Microsoft Access Help

So I've used Access in that past at one of my jobs so I know hat a great tool it can be. I currently work part time as a youth pastor, and I just had my students complete a pretty detailed contact form. I have some software designed for youth pastors I can use to keep contact info, however, it doesn't allow me tract all the information I would like to, so I thought that my best move might be to create my own custom database in Access. The only problem is that I have no idea how to create a database in Access. So I come to you, Ohio Chatter, to seek your help. I've looked for tutorials and YouTube videos, but that pretty much all deal with advanced features of the software, nothing on how to get started that I could find. So I thought maybe you could help. If anyone could give me some insight to get me started (I have Access 2010) or hook me up with a good YouTube video or two, I would be most appreciative. Thanks in advance!
