How many chatterers are going to the home opener this Sunday for the Browns? Who will be tailgating in the Muni or the Pit? And has the city of Cleveland upheld the decision to not open the lots until 7am on Sunday?

Browns site still lists the 7:00 AM time for the Municipal Lot on their parking info page.

I don't mind the time in itself because that's still PLENTY of time to get completely wrecked, but what does piss me off is that it was another one of Goodell's random trips of power. He's been trying to get all stadiums and associated entities to only open their lots 3 1/2 hours before a game, which is ridiculous. I hate that fucker. Thank god Cleveland didn't go with what he wanted. Could you imagine if it didn't open until 9:30?

Did anyone end up going to this? I am going to the game Sunday and am a little worried about the Muni Lot situation. We want to get there as soon as it opens but I am afraid the line will be horrendous.

I was in the Muni for the opener. There were so many cars that they finally let everyone in at about 6:15.

Yeah I looked around online and saw that. Hopefully it will be the same this week. Since there are just 2 of us coming from my house we should be able to get there really early. Normally there are about 10 and getting out the door is a pain in the ass.

We left Dover around 5:30 and when we got there at 7. My one buddy stayed in a hotel close and said they started letting people in shortly after 6am. The 1st section of the Muni was almost full, although we were able to get a few spots together to set up our tents, grills and tables, etc. Enough room for about 15-20 people. The 2nd lot was filling up also. With the stellar play of the Browns so far this season, I wouldn't think it would be a problem to get into the Muni.

Also, the parking garage on the west side of the lot almost always has spots. I think it is $20.00.
