Logan travels down to Jackson this week to take on the Ironmen. Our first league game of the year. Logan is 0-3 coming off a spanking from Reynoldsburg while Jackson is 2-1 coming off a 42-6 win over Vinton County. Logan can take the record for most consecutive league games won with a win, while the Ironmen would love to end that streak and leave the Chiefs tied with Ironton at 34. Jackson was the last league team to beat the Chiefs. The way Logan has been playing, it's real hard for me to pick them to win, but on the other hand, Jackson's only wins have come against 0-3 Vinton County and 0-3 Waverly. But then again, they lost to Wellston for the first time in 19 years. Make no mistakes this Friday Chiefs and bring that record home!

Obviously Jackson doesn't have a bad team this year, but the schedule they've played so far has definitely not prepared them for this matchup. Logan stuck right with Lancaster and Picktown, but the 'Burg "debacle" has me scratching my head. Speed - maybe?? I think the ones in purple grab the record this Friday at Alumni Stadium. Yes, I was not expecting a beating like that from Reynoldsburg, who lost to Jerome and beat up on a bad Scott team. I don't know what the problem was, I hear they are just making a lot of dumb mistakes and tackling has been a major issue. I hope you're right and the Chiefs can come away with the first win of the season. I'd say our playoff chances are down the drain now, so the best we can hope for is another league Championship.

You can't win 'em all EVERY year. lol I'm looking forward to hearing the score of next years game between yours truly and the Chiefs
