Really? Auburn?
Huh, I figured they would be out west for the Arizona/ Iowa game. Or at least the Texas Tech/ Texas game.
Hell, even Arizona St./ Wisconsin is maybe a better venue.
Nothing like a middle of the road SEC team against a middle of the road ACC team.

Yeah, but the game is out west, not in Iowa.

Weak, cough, I mean week 3 is always bad, the big non-conference games are over, the big inter-conference games haven't begun. Auburn/Clemson is just as good as anythig else. Georgia likely would have hosted if they didn't lose to South Carolina. GT-UNC in CH would have been nice if GT didn't blow it in Kansas, and UNC actually fielded a team of non-cheaters. This is the weekend to miss college football, if one chooses to.

I'm really looking forward to the TTech-Texas game. I like Tech to win this.

Psyched, I will be there with a sign that says "My other sign was stolen by Cam Newton."
This game was chosen because it will easily be the highest rated game of the week, and is the first college football game to ever be shown in ESPN 3D. Auburn has a 90+K stadium, and Iowa is maybe the least "sexy" team in the nation as far as a team to put on gameday.

Ehh, Texas@TT has the potential to be a better game. TT is still moving the ball on offense. It's in Lubbock. The last two games have been great, and Texas hasn't been tested yet. Plus, add in the former Auburn coach in his first game against Texas.
That is a more interesting game to me.

I guess. I would be willing to be the Auburn game pulls the better ratings though.

Well, yeah. It is on ESPN, while ABC is splitting between Texas/ TT and Notre Dame/ MSU.
Usually Herbie is at one of the ABC games, I wonder which one he will be at.

I bet he is at ND, that game is more intriguing to me than TT actually. I wish I could see what the 3D looked like actually for our game. I was definitely surprised when I saw our game had gameday, but it makes sense with the games this weekend. Not nearly as good as last weekend. But better for me!

Both teams come from one state, so many people wont be interested in just texas teams.ptown_trojans_1;483126 wrote:Ehh, Texas@TT has the potential to be a better game. True, but the last two games have been great.
I don't care if the two teams are from the same city, if its a good game, I'll watch.

This will be the third week in a row for SEC teams, and it looks like 4 out of the next 6 weeks could possibly be in SEC country. They should of taken it elsewhere this coming w/e considering the games coming up in the SEC in weeks to come.

Yeah, that's my main point. Take it to Arizona or TT. I doubt they will get another Gameday for a while.cats gone wild;483295 wrote:This will be the third week in a row for SEC teams, and it looks like 4 out of the next 6 weeks could possibly be in SEC country. But, then again, CBS will probably take up the other big games and ESPN has this SEC game.

Ummm...........about every team in the SEC has this type of schedule or tougher. LSU's schedule trumps both of these schedules easily.

Tennessee and Kentucky suck, but you can call those last 4 a brutal stretch, with 2 bye weeks (including the game against MSU).

Tennessee has Oregon, UF,UAB, @LSU, @UGA, BAMA, @South Carolina in a row with a bye in there one week. 5 ranked teams out of 7 and one team that just fell out. 3 teams in the top 7.

Alabama has a tough stretch after this game at Duke this week:
Arkansas, vs. Florida, at South Carolina, vs. Mississippi, at Tennessee, BYE, and at LSU

Another odd thing about Bama's schedule. The last 6 SEC games they play will be against an opponent coming off of a bye week. Something doesn't really seem right about that.

All of the SEC teams are mediocre outside of Florida, Bama, and LSU, and we still aren't sure about Florida and LSU.
