Nice dramatic win for the Steelers to open the season, but they face a daunting task in Week 2.

LP Field (formerly known as Adelphia Coliseum or just The Coliseum) has been a rough venue for the Steelers to get a win over the years.

Titans feature the dynamic duo of Chris Johnson and Vince Young. Johnson has a string of 12 consecutive 100-yard games. The Steelers take a lot of pride in their run defense but I still don't know if they can stop Johnson and his speed.

Of the four games during the Roethlisberger suspension, this may be the ugliest for the Steelers.

Although I really liked the defensive performance against Atlanta.

They held Michael Turner to 42 yards on 19 carries.

Roddy White had a big day with 13 receptions for 111 yards but he made a lot of tough, strong catches near the sidelines and on plays where the ball had to be perfectly placed. Bryant McFadden was often the cornerback who got picked on and he had good coverage on a lot of the completions.

Bottom line is the Steelers offense must do a lot more to give them a chance in Tennessee.

Yeah, this will be a tough one to win. On the road against what appears to be a pretty darn good team. And Max Starks is out 2-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Not good. Hopefully Jonathan Scott can hold it down while Starks is out but that's a tall task.

Completely agree about Bryant McFadden yesterday. He had great coverage most of the time. Not much you can do to defend a perfect throw and catch.

The defense is back and must turn it up another notch this week. I agree, this game worries me the most of the four without Ben but I think the defense is up to the task and give Pittsbuirgh a chance to win in the fourth quarter. Hopefully they can work out some kinks with Dixon and the passing game but they'll have to play it close to the vest. This is the NFL, a win is a win, no style points needed!

lol holly shit.....

I think the Steelers can pull this W atleast I hope they can. It is going to be hard as hell to stop Johnson but if we can force the Titans into some passing situations I like the chances to force some turnover. The offense is going to need to control the line of scrimmage and open some running lanes. Dixon will just need to control the offense and complete some passes here and there.

Pittsburgh vs. Tennessee
Houston vs. Washington

Not really interesting. It was to activate Steve Mclendon from the practice squad since Hampton is out. Needed to add some depth to the D-line for this game. They released Leftwich. He can't be claimed by another team but he is free to sign with another team. He'll probably sign with the Steelers again early next week.

I hate for the Steelers to play the Titans and the Jaguars

Any type of win will be tremendous.

I'm guessing an ugly game with a Steeler loss and many breaks going the other way.....with horrid play calling

Defense has been off the chart thus far...offense must find a way to get to 23 points.

Polamalu interception in the endzone..nice

Batch has thrown well...Steelers must step it up!

Kerry Collins is in to try to give Tennessee a jumpstart and Polamalu sacks him and then McFadden intercepts him

6 turnovers by Tennessee....they are fortunate their defense is very good and Pittsburgh has slow receivers and a 3rd string QB in the game
