Kolb got hurt so it's now the Vick show, physically he looks good, but still makes the stupid Vick mistakes

Kind of a dumb play call there. Roll him out and get him in space.

Vick looked good, but he is a tough guy to use as your #1 qb...you have to change your offense a lot. At least Philly does use a version of a spread offense already.

He looked decent, but i disagree with the accuracy comment. I thought he didn't look accurate at all. The TD pass to Maclin was a great catch, and he made a a few bad throws, but his ability to scramble makes up for some of it.

16-24 for 175 and a Td in pretty much one half of football is pretty damn accurate IMO

I disagree with you. Okay his accuracy compared to who? Manning? Brady? Rodgers? No where close. But compared to where most people thought he was I thought he did pretty good. And a lot of the bad looking throws were actually placed perfectly like the one 3rd to I think Avant. His accuracy was real good. His ability to scramble is the only reason he got a pay day in the first place. We all know he can do that.

I thought he looked real good and got the Eagles offense actually moving.

Dude played terrible and was never proven. This is the opposite of the Favre situation. Rodgers actually is a good QB. Who the fuck is Kolb?

Vick was the epitome of Vick today. Great athlete, made me go "WOW!" a few times, hit some good passes...and did mindnumbingly stupid things like costing his team a chance to go to OT by forcing a pass into the endzone instead of trusting that he could make the endzone late in the fourth quarter (which it looked like he could...I was shocked he passed the ball, honestly).

With that said, if I was an Eagle fan, I'd be praying that Reid is just saying Kolb is the starter to keep in line with that unwritten rule that starters don't lose their job because of injury. Because I could see there being potential locker room mutiny if Kolb isn't put on a short leash considering how Vick nearly rallied the team back against a high-quality team. Vick isn't the prototypical elite quarterback, but he's a proven starter who's shown the ability to win games. Kolb is...uhhh...a guy who's shown he can get the job done in relief of an injured starter. Like Frank Reich or Steve Beuerlein. Over the long haul, I'd rather have Vick taking snaps than guys like that.

He is pass first believe it or not, unless it is an option of some sort. You got to give him the start next week IMO. He looked really good and the team is already 0-1. When you got a guy who is that talented, he has to be on the field IMO. Maybe they trade him, I would want him if I had a team that was already looking bad.

Kolb failed the concussion test.

Vick will take the snaps tomorrow and Reid said they will "take Friday as it comes".

Reid is an idiot when it comes to concussions it seems. According to most Dr's, in reality Kolb shouldn't see the practice field until a week after his symptoms go away. If he failed a concussion test, that means he still has symptoms. I think Reid is just trying to save his own ass from looking stupid and it could possibly endanger a player's health

I agree. The article I read was from ESPN and I think it was posted this morning, before practice. So Kolb was out today as well. It also says Reid had said that Kolb and the other guy were being held out until Friday at the earliest anyway.

He just doesn't realize that The Onion is satirical and shouldn't be taken to heart.
