NORTH BALTIMORE — Elmwood’s Jack Waldock threw for a pair of scores and ran for another to power the Royals past neighborhood rival North Baltimore 20-8 in a non-conference game at Memorial Field Friday night.
Waldock connected with Jay Hannah for a 33-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and added another 33-yard scoring strike to T.J. Waldock in the second quarter to give Elmwood (2-1) a 13-0 halftime lead.
North Baltimore quarterback Clinton Ebright snuck in from one yard away with 6:24 left in the third quarter. Dalton Ishmael added the PAT run to close the gap to 13-8.
Waldock sewed things up with an insurance score on a 4-yard run with just 2:09 remaining in the contest.
Jack Waldock was 12 of 25 passing for 204 yards while adding another 75 yards on the ground. T.J. Waldock hauled in seven passes for 123 yards to lead the Royals’ receiving corps.
Ebright carried the ball 13 times for 64 yards to lead the Tigers (1-1).
