This Friday night September 10th at 10PM EDT 20/20 on ABC will be doing a special about my daughter Kaylee and what it is like to live with Progeria. We are pretty excited and are hoping this raises even more awareness to our cause.

wow this is awesome on getting the info out there for the disease. I am happy for your family and all with this disease getting knowledge out there so people understand it is huge.

Did you solicit Barbara for a sponsership for the golf outing? :D

I didn't know about the golf outing when we did the interview. It was filmed before she went on medical leave. Barbara was great. She made the interview very easy to do.

Yesterday on "The view" the girls talked about the special. If you are interested in seeing it, in the middle of the page clcik where it says "Barbara Walters Reports on Progeria"

You'd think, with all the bank Justin's making on this website, he'd run a commercial promoting the golf outing during the special!

Edit: Also, I will be setting the DVR.

It has been a great week. The buzz about the Barbara Walters Special has caused a lot of media outlets to try to get stories. I am excited that is has brought about this much attention. There will be alot more coming in the coming months. I am told Dateline and a few others are working on stories. Our friends in KY are filming a documentary right now for Discovery Health. The more stories the better for our cause.

I actually clicked on this thread to post about this. Saw it earlier headlined as something like "Benjamin Button disease" or something like that and I knew exactly what it was before I clicked on it due to Rider_In_Ttown's past posts on the situation.

It might re-air again next year. They will run new episodes of 20/20 probably until spring.
