Sid The Kid took batting practice today at PNC Park with the "Succos" and went deep:

The Pirates should sign him but he's too expensive for the Nutting's taste.

He crushed that thing with a fairly effortless swing.

Braylon Edwards hit a homerun once during Indians batting practice, so.....

Crosby has terrific eye hand coordination and powerful forearms, why is this HR a surprise?

this is why I get mad everytime the Reds announcers talk about how far one of our younger players was hitting home runs in BP

There is a reason Wily Mo Pena isn't in the HOF.....or baseball altogether

I hit 3 HRs with a wood bat in Fifth Third field here in Toledo. 2 just cleared the fence, but one was a pretty good shot to right center (oppo field!).

Crosby smoked that thing, but he is a much stronger human being than me, so I am not all that surprised. If you have hand-eye you can connect with a pitcher throwing BP fastballs.

An amazing athlete. ESPN had video on this morning of him hitting pucks through the goal posts at Heinz Field from 60 yards.
