My laptop used to have a battery life of about 3.5 hours and now it is down to 1 hour tops. I went to Las Vegas for a week then when I got back it, my battery was never the same. Try running the computer til the battery dies a couple times but that did not work. I had my computer for less than a year and it is a Toshiba Satellite if that helps. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Looks like you need a new battery. I've needed one for about a year. Learn to love having it plugged in. Problem solved.

every laptop does this. buy a knockoff on ebay, they are cheap. 1 hour is pretty decent though, id wait til it only lasts 15min or less which will happen soon.

You cannot recover or fix a laptop battery. Couple of tips.
1. Laptop batteries have x amount of charge cycles. Once they are cycled, the battery toast.
2. Do not leave you laptop plugged in all the time. To get max life from your battery, run it down as much as you can each and every time you use the computer.

There you go. That one is $33 brand new and on the expensive side for Ebay usually.

Good advice.
