Hard to believe it is already Wednesday and there isn't a thread started about this one. 1_Beast, where are you?

Triway coming off a loss will look to get back on track this Friday at home. I am sure they have learned from last weeks game and are ready to move on with the season.

Waynedale with two tough losses against two pretty good teams, are they ready to get one in the W column before heading into WCAL play?

After last week's loss, it's hard to get on here and talk positively. We did not do much correctly and played soft other than the first series. If we play soft again this week, Waynedale will hit us in the mouth! I saw both of their scrimmages; and although they may be undersized (other than Mullins), they are gritty and can hit. We better be ready for a tough defense that could take us by surprise. Sad to say it, but our defense was missing the fire and intensity that we're used to seeing from a Coach Fletcher-led defense. I'm sure he'll change that this week, though. I am sure our kids will rebound. There are lots of good, competitive kids on the team this year that will make sure the team does not have another let down.

Go Titans!

I go with the Titans this week. They should have a a bit of a chip after last week. They have some athletes and a great QB.....time to get back on track starts right now. Good Luck from the Riders.

There is no doubt Triway will come out ready to play. It is always a long week after a loss until you can get back on the field and redeem yourself.

I warned in the pres-season.....and ya'll called shenanigans. We have Mullins at center( i would rather see him at tackle)....QB by committee....mental errors, dropped passes , fumbles, tackling issues, play calling issues...............not sure i want to go the mosquito infested swamp for this....it could get ugly....but hold on...2 losses were both very winnable. Triway showing they are vulnerable.....could be a great game if ends contain and def covers. OHHH AND Z needs to keep Mullin on the field or off...running him on and off the field multiple times reduces his effectiveness....just a few thoughts from a wrestling guy ;)

Just can't argue with Beast. The Bears have just been out of it so far. I know eliminating the turnovers sounds easy but many of them come from trying to prove yourself everydown. Kids will make mistakes but you pick your best ones and let them play. At some point we are going to have to play more kids both ways also. To much talent standing around only playing on one side of the ball. We don't have the talent to platoon and win. My guess is the coaches know what is best and once we get into league play we will see a much more consistent and focused team. Many new players and non-league is time to see what you got. Lets face it, there isn't a legitmate second round playoff team in the league this year based on what I've seen so far. Mine as well shoot for a WCAL title and be proud of that.

I like the way you think, using the non conference games to determine your line up for the WCAL.

I think it will be a better game this week than you two are letting on.

I hope your right Ringz. So far there has been little to cheer about. I just want to see progress this week and feel like this team will compete in the league this year which I think they will.

Big game tonight for the Titans! Time to get back on track. I think our defense can contain the Golden Bear offense for the most part, but can our offense move the ball on their defense? We shall see.

Good luck Titans! Beat the Golden Bears!

Oh, beast. You better get there early tonight, or you'll be driving over the spike strip I'm laying out on 250 behind my house for all the Waynedale fans to enjoy.

OK. So maybe I'm not going to do that. :) Good luck tonight, Golden Bears. I hope it's a fun night of football where both teams can show some promise to build on for their respective league games coming up.

When i was a student athlete at Waynedale (no K), we went and painted Triways Rock and toilet papered the lawn....Janitor chased us...lol, so i (wearing a triway shirt) told him we were triway students just trying to get the team fired up. He bought the story and went back inside so we could finish the job!
