Ok, I just got called to play in a scramble at noon. I'm an ok golfer, etc. However, I've never played in a scramble before and have no clue of who the other 3 guys I'm playing with are. What should I expect? How does a scramble work?

usually you just tee off and play from the best shot. you can go in any order on any shot. some people like to go first cause its less pressure, some put their best player last...ive seen the best player also go first to so the other guys can "go for it"....kinda depends on your team. Some teams rotate the order that they hit..... Some scrambles sell mulligans for a price so you can pick one guy to take the shot again. usually there are prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd....however i have seen some scrambles give the best prize to second place to prevent cheating.
