I am in a 12 team "salary cap" league. Each team has 18 roster spots, with 30 years of contracts to spend on those players. PPR. Each player must be signed to at least a 1 year contract, so I basically have 12 years worth of contracts to give out multi year deals. If a player is released in the 1st half of a contract, you must forfeit the following years first round pick. How would you spread out the contracts?
QB - Eli Manning, Vince Young
RB - Frank Gore, Lesean McCoy, Justin Forsett, Kareem Huggins
WR - Randy Moss, Sims-Walker, Maclin, Mike Wallace, Jacoby Jones, James Jones, Robiskie, Nate Washington
TE - Witten, Carlson
K - Crosby
DEF - Chargers

Biggest question to me, do I sign Randy Moss to a multi year deal? If so, how long? We are also allowed to set one guy as a franchise player at the end of their contract, and we are allowed to restrict 2 free agents and have the option to match if we have cap space, so I would have a shot to keep him at the end of his contract if he still is performing well.

Gore and McCoy are the biggest needs to sign long term. I would do anything more than 2 yrs on Moss. I doubt he is even with the Pats past this season.

If Fred Davis is available he wouldnt be a bad TE to pick up and sign since I think he has a big couple years ahead of him. It would be worth the risk since you have 2 TEs anyway. Might as well take the risk and drop Carlson.
