Last Meeting- 2009
Massillon won 31-14

2009 was also the first meeting between these two schools.

I think Massillon showed signs of improvement last week, in the second half.
Tonn looked more comfortable throwing the ball. And the WR's were catching the ball better. WR's had a few dropped passes, that hit them right in the hands, in the first half.

The defense stills needs to work some more on wrapping and following through on tackles. Secondary looked good all night, and had to make a few down field tackles.

Not sure on Stow, they beat Wadsworth in week one, but lost to Kent Roosevelt last week.

I think Massillon wins this one, if they stay focussed like the second half of last week.

If Massillon does win, it will give them 798 All-Time wins.

What do you think?

Is Massillons QB a transfer? Where did he come from ? A guy I know said he came from Oregon. This dude is always full of crap though. He is a pro catholic school guy and is always trying to get under my skin. hence my attitude towards the private schools . Just curious though ?

We have a kid from Oregon, but he is not the starter.

Tonn is the starting QB, and he grew up in Massillon.

Being a "pro catholic school guy" would simply be enough to get under my skin without saying a word. Funny thing is, is that the kid from Oregon....his dad got transferred to the area for his work, it's not like one day he just woke up and said, "pack up your things son....we're moving to Massillon", when he got here, word is he toured alot of area schools, finally choosing Massillon.

Another "funny" thing is that the RB that we just faced, Brionte Dunn, "Transferred" to GlenOak from another Stark County school, (and former All American Conference foe), Alliance, but we RARELY hear anything about that now do we? GlenOak also has a two-way lineman, a pretty big aggressive kid, named Everitt, who transferred in from Fairless.

I think your friend would be surprised to find that if he looked at Stark County football as a whole, he'd find that Massillon usually has one of the lower amounts of "transfers", within the county.

If the Paper Tigers win by less than 3 TD's they should plan on a less than .500 season.

Well of course Massillon isn't that good this year, we BARELY beat a Federal League contender.

If Hoover beats a Canadian team by more than 10 points, that means Hertler is sober.
