Hopefully Mogadore won't miss Chance too much, and will continue to improve heading into league play.

For all Mogadore, Northwestern, PTC, WCL fans, I will be doing live updates as usual for the game at http://www.mogadorefootball.com

I'm going to update a mobile version of the site as well, at http://www.mogadorefootball.com/mobile , which should show much better on phones than the normal site.

No television-no nerves-no excuses. Dogs vs Cats at home in West Salem. Turnovers will decide this one. GO HUSKIES.

Good news about Chance. Hopefully Mogadore will come out ready to play from the get-go and avoid a start similar to the Smithville game.

Being a life long Husky fan, I'm pulling for Nwn. The Huskies major issue is that the prolific offenses of the 2005-2007 playoff years just isn't there. I fear the Huskies will have trouble moving the ball on the Wildcat defense. The Northwestern defense, though small, is quick and disciplined. They should be able to hold their own against Mogadore but the more time they spend on the field, the more susceptible they become to the big play.

This should be a good game. I see Mogadore as a 12-18 point favorite, however, if the Huskies can pull it all together, they have a shot at upsetting the cats.

I agree with you Red- I just hope we can score early, get a couple three and outs, cause some Moggy turnovers and capitalize on them. Our kicking game will turn around this week-which will help, if we can win the turnover battle and not let them settle in-it'll be close. I think you'll agree-four plays were the difference in the Crestview game; the same could take place tomorrow-I hope not. Husky fans need to be active lets take advantage of home field-the 12th man needs to come alive!!!! C'mon boys rise to the challenge and make us proud!

He's back- played DB last week with an interception late in the game to seal the victory.

I agree, the Crestview game was a heartbreaker. Hopefully our all state kicking game can find itself. Crestview & Mogadore are tough teams we need to beat in order to take the next step. No excuses...if the kids play well, they have a good chance. Anything less, and we probably get drilled.

Win or lose, if they leave it all out on the field the Huskies will have nothing to be ashamed of.

Team that holds onto the ball and is more physical wins IMO.

Cats fans- just a little traffic note: if your not familiar with the area-the bridge over I-71/State Route 539 South is closed for rehab. When exiting I-71 at 539 Congress/West Salem turn right, make the first left on Ruff. Take Ruff approx 1/2 mile and turn left onto Kline. Follow Kline (you will cross over 71) till you come to the first intersection make a right onto Wohlgamuth. Go to first intersection (Rt. 604) and make a right. Take 604 till it deadends into 301. Make a left and continue South on 301 about 3/4 of a mile- Northwestern Husky Stadium will be on your left.

That construction was a pain in the butt. Love Northwestern Stadium and layout...great facility. Surprised Mogadore loses turnover battle and was fortunate to hold on to win. Game was closer than score IMO. NW brought it and played very hard. They will win many games this year. Good luck the rest of the way.

As a proud Northwestern alum I can say their facility is simply awesome.

Glad to hear the Huskies played hard tonight. Now go win the WCAL.
