Wrestling great and former Bridgeport High School product Bobby Douglas was in town in June to give a coaches clinic at the Sportatorium and, on Nov. 6, one of Douglas' former pupils will take the stage at Steubenville Big Red High School.
Penn State wrestling coach Cael Sanderson, who was coached by Douglas to a 159-0 record and four NCAA championships at Iowa State, will be on hand to conduct a wrestling camp.
The clinic is a lead-in to the eighth-annual Fall Brawl at the high school.
Weigh-in and registration will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 6. Kids can purchase a U.S.A. wrestling card for $35 and be eligible to wrestle in any U.S. Wrestling-sanctioned event, which the Fall Brawl will be for the first time.
The camp will be held from noon to 2 p.m.

Cael Sanderson? Is this pro wrestling!? I've never heard of the guy. Do you have any info on him? Any chance he could step in and be an assistant coach at THEE Ohio State University!?!?!

Are you being serious about not know Cael Sanderson? He won 4 Div. I National Championships and not losing a single match the entire time, he's also a gold medalist! He's quite possibly one of the greatest (if not, the greatest) armature wrestlers EVER!

I'm not sure how or who landed him, but my guess would be that the owners of Smitty floors worked with Bobby Douglas (Bridgeport High School grad) to get him here! I agree that this is huge, and I hope anyone with a wrestler will come and take advantage of this awesome opportunity! Here is the registration form for anyone interested:
