Since I went to Xavier and have to college affiliation I root for YSU. They play at Penn State this weekend.

To upset PSU Guins must hold onto the football. If they lose the turnover battle there's no way they beat Penn State.

Must contain QB/RB. If Penn State racks up yardage and goes crazy, then YSU has no chance. Defense is key for the Guins.

Special team special teams special teams. Can't give up any big special teams plays.

Offense must drive. YSU has a lot of problems driving the ball against big time programs.

Now that coach Hicup is gone I think we can actually contend in one of these games. Coach Hicup was awful, never would call me back when I had a potential recruit for YSU or respond to e-mails. Let's see how Wolford does.

My game prediction YSU a little Penn State a lot.

Gardens35, the rah rah stuff gets old. You stuck up for Hicup every chance you got. Be realistic he ruined the program.

That's untrue and I'm pretty sure you know it. While you took opportunity after opportunity to bash Heacock and call for his head, I said "I don't really care who the Head Coach is" and you've tried to somehow turn that into me being a Heacock supporter.

Beyond all that, shouldn't your next post be under another one of your other usernames saying something like "LHSGUY35, You're the man!"?

No Gardens you shouldn't be all rah rah about YSU with the admin they have there. No AD should make the hires like he did for coach Hiccup and Slocum, Cindy Martin etc etc. I will never stick up for a program with such a bad admin.

Back to the game. Hess is the starter something I think was a bad move by Wolford. This Angle kid is legit. He has all the tools to make it as a D-IAA QB. IMO from what I've seen from practices this year he's the best QB on the team. I liked him at Logan and think eventually he will be the starting QB if not now then next year.
