Played in 12 seasons winning 124 games by age 31......age 32 he missed the entire regular season with his own name surgery.
After the surgery he was 80-35 over the next 4 seasons finishing 2nd, 8th, 2nd and 4th respectively in the Cy Young voting.
Career saving surgery at age 32.......pitched 14 more seasons and won 164 more games. Ending his career with 288 career wins.
