WOW....Massillon's offense was suicidal at best tonight. You can't win a game when your QB tosses up 6 interceptions. Time to change the starting QB for next week. And Hall was dumb for going for it before the half could have kicked the short field goal and go up by 2 scores.
I have to give Buchtel credit for playing hard and pulling off the win. They have some talented players and should have a good season.

I got in the car after doing some percussion work with the band and heard the score. I thought the guys from WHBC were kidding. I watched the first quarter of the game on the WHS station and could not believe that they gave up the opening kickoff f or the touchdown. I hope this was just a blip on the screen for Massillon. Someone was saying on WHBC, is Buchtel that good or did Massillon just have one of those games. The way that the Repository is pumping up Massillon and McKinley this year, I thought this game was going to be a yawner.

Couldn't believe this one! Was at the game last night and Massillon's offense was non-existant...you cannot win a game when you throw six interceptions. I still want to know though, when you know your QB is not getting it done, why on earth do you not put the other guy in and give him a chance. I will be shocked if the kid from Oregon doesn't get some chances in the coming weeks.

Something I did find really interesting though is that there was a lady sitting behind us....all garbed up in Massillon stuff...but she wasn't watching the game...she was cross-stitching...never seen that before. LoL

Although Buchtel had some good athletes...I don't think that they were a better team...Massillon just gave up too much and handed the game over to Buchtel on a golden plate.

I heard that Massillon kicked off at the start of both halves???? Lack of focus by the coaching staff.

Hall said that he did not want to pull Tonn in the middle of the game. The kid needs the experience anyway. I respect that, you want the line to respect that. Keeps them from losing confidence in the QB. You start switching QB's every time they do something wrong, and the O-line will give up, and think you have no faith in anybody. JMHO
