This can be done (very difficultly) with a work around that makes use of the google voice service, otherwise no dice on the cell phone (yet). But from your computer browser, you can now dial any phone number in the US or Canada for free unlimited calls! Not sure of the quality, though.
I don't really have any need/use for it, but pretty cool. Although, it looks like they do plan to charge for it at some point (and why not, they'd be competing with traditional land lines and cell carriers). But for free I'd drop my cell minutes to the minimum if they get it to work well on mobile phones.

Pretty decent quality. I added it and dialed myself this morning to test. Next step, video chat.
