How sweet would it be if there was a scoreboard...kinda like a espn ticker. That is more of a major league thing though.

I heard we were going to do this thing where people text message their scores in, apparently its a rather effective major league practice.
But seriously, Most likely something like a subforum makes the most sense. Keeps it from clogging the main forum and nothing else that actually involves web development really justifies any time investment setting it up until we get more traffic. It's busy enough to justify separating it but not busy enough to waste a ton if time on it, in essence.

But on the other hand, that is something a LOT of people would like, and it might draw more traffic into the site as well.

Also true, but that involves some loser being around on Friday to input scores to it.
Oh wait, THAT'S why he made us football mods!
Either way, it's baby steps... we could start with a subforum and end up with the god of all score tickers in a month or so!

A score ticker is in development. I'm actually making ohiochatter a drupal-based site with the forum section staying on vBulletin. So, hopefully, by the start of the football season the forum will be a subdomain (http://forum.ohiochatter.com) and the main site will be able to have any and all content that we want. It will make it a lot more extensible. And awesome.
