Johnny Cueto vs Chad Billingsley

Billingsley had nothing on them the last meeting....hoping for much of the same.

Fewer mistakes last night and a well played game breaking the streak.

Another monkey off back....another win wanted. Phillips stepped up last night.....we need someone else to do it tonight.

For the while I'd have Hernandez 5th

our 7th and 8th hitters are very good for those spots....which can help

Back in early May I spoke of needing Phillips in the #1 or #2 hole as opposed to the #4......I was stupid by some:

Phillips would be as much of a disaster in the 1 spot as he is in the 4 spot.

I'm holding out hope that the lineup was switched back only because of the Rolen off day today. But I think we all know that BP will be in the clean up spot for the vast, vast majority of the season.

Cueto with terrible control here in the 1st Inning over 30+ pitches and 3 walks and 7 batters come to the plate and L.A. lead 1-0 after 1

Paul Keels: "Ethier pops one to centerfield"

Paul it went 430 feet for a HR.......get the heartrate over 60 and call it a shot or whatever. I didn't watch the hit but heard Keels' call and thought he just hit a routine fly to CF....not 80 ft further.

"Phillips gets on the curveball"

He hit it 180 feet.
