It sounds like the scrimmage went well for the Indian Nation. I am looking forward to this season. The team is showing a lot of promise. The Orrville game will be a good early season barometer for what we are going to be looking at for the season. The Marlington, Minerva, and Louisville game loom large for the NBC season. Really, I think the league top to bottom will be a lot stronger.

Here is my email to fpfp late last night on my thoughts of the scrimmage:
It went pretty well. Our run defense looked much better. We started out kind of shakey on offense but it really picked up. Varsity technically won 18 to 7. Field goal kicking was still terrible. The first 2 times the snap didn't get there then he missed his next three kicks. Punting looked better but not great. The person who looked great was ronnie beers both at running back and receiver. Kid is quick and has some moves. The run game actually looked pretty good tonight. Overall it was good but still some things to work on for sure. There is a lot of promise with this team. I just hope it is realized.

You will see more than our coaching staff...word on the street is that the whole team is coming.

bring your notepads...we plan on running all of our trick plays tonight.
Maybe we'll just use the scrimmage to work on 20 yd field goals.

That should be a good one.
