I've relocated out of the area and I have been unable to track down any information on how this scrimmage went. Can someone please give me a recap?

RRR

EDIT: Why is there a picture of Underdog underneath my username? lol

It was nice meeting you tonight Peachy. The Qb situation has worked itself out. I was a little quick to jump the gun lol. Pierro looked very good tonight made some very nice throws. Shaq at WR is nice. He going to be very explosive out wide.

I will continue to ask for someone to enlighten me on what exactly happened until this meager request is filled.

Where the hell is Big Red Nation on this site? Have our ranks gotten smaller, pulled closer together, or are they just over this whole Internet forum phenomena?

Inquiring minds want to know.

MOW... You out there? BigRed95??? Someone?!?!?!

RBA, I'm in Cleveland. Unless you're talking about the OTHER BR95! The OVAC site (ovathletics.com) has some WCC fans post on the game, if no one responded to your request you can always go over there!

RBA,
We're here. But you must have forgot the first crimson rule....never talk specifics about Big Red. Never single any one player out.(it's just like fight club) Now that we got that out of the way....I think Shaq playing WR was a good move. And I'm so pumped about the kicker we got from Columbus (Open Enrollment rocks;) I hope they find more playing time for "Lucky" McClurg somewhere.

There is only one BR95, as far as I'm concerned... And he is the guy that finished runner-up in the OVAC Tourney his junior year at 160 (yep... I have a good memory).

I'm in Cleveland now, too. Well... right on the Maple Heights/Bedford border. You are going to have to show me the cool party spots sometime. ;)

Not only do I know the rules of the 'Big Red Club,' I may have invented them! Well... Maybe not... But, I was at least there when they were originally ordained.

I'm loving the idea of No. 23 at WR. We just have too many weapons to stick all of them in the backfield and try to split carries between them. Let's spread that wealth around the field.

I wasn't looking for specifics, though... Just a very broad overview of what happened. Hell... I couldn't even locate the final score (not that it matters in a scrimmage).

Big Red Nation has never been this quiet about the Pigskin Preview. I don't know whether that is a good thing or a bad thing. I guess we'll find out in five days. Either way, I'm just happy that I can sit back on Friday nights and be a diehard supporter again. That isn't to say that I wasn't thankful for my time at a certain publication, but a bit of the fun was lost for me during those four years. It just isn't the same when it is your job.

I think most of the talk is going under ground. Like by PM's. By the way you've got mail;)

Big Red scored on the first play of the game...70 yard reception. Also had a 97 yard drive for a TD, and another passing TD. It was 21-0 in the one quarter that the starters played and I don't recall WCC getting a first down. That's it in a nutshell.

Oh yea, kicking game looked good.

^^^^The kicking game will be huge for the RED this season. I just don't see teams driving 70-80 yds all the time against that defense.

I feel much better about the qb situation. Pierro was on target with all of his passes. It does bother me that some very good passes were dropped. Number 20 dropped a perfect pass that would have gone for a touchdown. However, he did make up for that by catching two passes that he did take in for TDs.

After seeing all three scrimmages, I'm very confused. Big Red looked good against Cambridge and WCC and very flat against Lake. I wonder which team is going to show up to play Inkster.

Even NFL teams have games that they appear "flat", and this is high school. You can only be "up" so many times a season, the rest you just hope that you have enough in the tank to get the W.

BTW, I think Lake had a lot to do with making us not look "unstoppable"...good teams have a way of doing that.

So secretive, yet so predicable... Question is who is going to stop you and how many times... My guess is twice is twice. 7-3 t worst and 8-2 at best.
