Honestly, Russia is already the best team in the world, and I can't see them performing less than dominating fashion in the capital of their country. I don't keep up with world wrestling until an olympic year comes around, so my predictions may be way, however these are the guys I see medaling:

Jake Herbert: Silver medalist last year. Not sure if he will repeat the performance, but I can see a top 3 finish from him.

J.D. Bergman: Just a hunch. I heard he has been looking good.

Dremiel Byers: Former world bronze medalist. I think this guy is a beast, and if it wasn't for Rulon we might have been talking about him winning a medal in the olympics, and also contend for a world championship. I think he has one more medal performance in him.

That's about it for the USA. I just feel like the best wrestlers no longer get into world competition.

Note: I know nothing about Women's wrestling, so sorry If i sold any of them short.

Woman I am not sure. Greco outside Dremiel Byers I don't like our chances at medals. Freestyle Men's is going to be a rough road I think as well. I am of course rooting for the former Buckeye and Oak Harbor Rocket JD Bergman but not sure if he can make the podium. Zadick just may be the freestyles team only legit hope.

Can't leave out Herbert! He was VERY close to winning gold last year.
