Ya know, in the summer, I look forward to sitting out in my back yard and maybe build a fire on cool nights and listen to the Tribe. It's almost become too painful. Thanks a lot Dolan and your lacky, SHA-Peer-O, as we say it down here.

It's been 14 years since the Tribe won a game while commiting 5 errors.

Interesting stat. That would have been an embarrassing sweep.

Last night we lose while getting 17 hits. Today we win committing 5 errors. What a strange game

Either way it's a glittering Wahoo!
But yeah it was nice to see LaPorta come around a little bit at the plate, because he certainly wasn't getting it done in the field. His at bat in the 8th got the wheels turning for the big inning, they had to nickel and dime with the singles to get there but hey, they got there.
As for some other tidbits, I'd like to see Talbot with a good outing soon. He started to struggle a little bit right before his injury that landed him on the DL and he hasn't really had a solid start since coming off the list. At this point he's a lead candidate for the 2nd or 3rd spot in the rotation and I'd like to see him start pitching like he's capable of fulfilling that role.
Asdrubal has seemed to find his stride lately as he's pusing his average near .300. I'd like to see a little more pop out of the bat as he's still hovering around a .700 OPS but hey for this team I guess that's above average.

There is a reason KC is a bottom dweller too. They suck as bad as us!

Yeah, not bringing in the lefty to face Choo after we had tied the game was pretty astounding. That reminded me that even though the Tribe's pretty bad, there's some other teams that are pretty damn terrible too.

That really was a strange game last night. I remember chuckling when they announced Marte as a "defensive" replacement at third. He promptly booted one at the "hot corner". That at bat by LaPorta, though, really seemed to turn the tide.
