Eh, it looks more like the kid screwed up big time and is being punished but the parents don't want the adverse consequences so are taking another path.
Pastor Stacy LeMay told the AJC Monday night his son was unsuccessful in his appeal of a 30-day suspension from school for an undisclosed violation of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools code of conduct. The LeMays have never disclosed the nature of that “youthful indiscretion” but insist it “does not involve drugs, weapons or any form of violence.”

Doesnt have to do with drugs, weapons or violence? What could he have done to get 30 days?

My guess is this as well. Anything nude picture messaging sent between him and any girl is child porn since they're under 18 (well he was a junior so I'm assuming he wasn't 18).

He was caught having sex in the school with a girl. His dad used to be the team pastor for the Gators some years ago until they moved away. He was going to be a Gator, but Driskel emerged. 30 days is harsh for the crime. I wonder if the girl was susp. for 30 days ?

30 days was harsh for having sex IN school? LMAO. I'd say that was a gift!! He/they are lucky they weren't expelled for a semester.

He's a good kid, never been in any trouble of any kind, was on track to graduate early to enroll at UGA in Jan.
The district has a zero tolerance policy. All I can say is I'm glad I don't go to high school nowadays. I'd never be allowed back on the bus !

Thats all fine and dandy. Never said he was a bad kid. But thats still no excuse for doing what he did. And, when you choose to do something this stupid, you choose to subject yourself to the consequences. Its not hard to find other places to have sex. ;)
