Alright! It’s time for another year of the PAC-7 Pick’em Contest. The contest rules are the same as always, but there are some changes to who is eligible. Instead of running a pick’em for each of the main sports forum web sites, I am having one combined pick’em contest among the sites since demand in any one site is not large enough to justify the effort (on my part) of splitting them up. If you really think this is a bad idea, please voice your opinion. Otherwise, here is the run-down:

-- For eligibility, any user name from the three main sports forums will be accepted. If a user name is duplicated, it will be combined as one entry. For differing picks from the same user name, the latest one posted will be used.
-- Contestants must post picks for each and every week of the contest. The contest continues until all league teams have been eliminated from the playoffs.
-- A correct pick is worth one (1) win. An incorrect pick is worth one (1) loss. Each week there will be one (1) Game of the Week. If picked correctly, it is worth two (2) wins. If picked incorrectly, it is only worth one (1) loss.
-- Picks must be posted by 7:00 PM on Friday. The timestamp on posts will be used. If any edits are made, the latest timestamp will be used.
-- The contestant with the most points will be the winner. Tie breakers are:
-- -- League Game Pick Percentage
-- -- Playoff Pick Percentage
-- -- Number of Games of the Week Picked Correctly
-- -- Season Pick Percentage
-- -- Week 1 (2, 3..) Pick Percentage
-- -- **Pick percentage is calculated as follows: Wins / (Wins + Losses)
