Did anyone see the new episode of American Chopper?
WOW Jr. is opening his own chopper shop after he and his father had a falling out. Jr. owned 20% of OCC and Sr. says its worth ZERO and has seud Jr.
I thought Sr. came off as bitter in this first episode.

I think alot of this is forced drama.

But what the hell, I'll still watch.

I think Sr. is not as dumb as we think.

Someone posted a radio clip of interviews on the subject last week. I think there is some genuine animosity. Personally, if I was Sr., Paulie is too immature and lazy to take over a business with 200 people relying on that paycheck. The added drama doesn't hurt ratings, but I think Sr. is trying to teach a lesson.

That said, his other son (whom we've seen very little of) bought out Sr.'s steel business that he had before OC. That was apparently very bitter and they supposedly didn't speak for years. So this is not unprecedented.

Family business is tough. Not everyone wants to hand the keys to their legacy to a moron.

From what I understand Sr. has no relationship with any of his sons.
They showed him spending time with his new step sons.

I like the fact Vinnie came back to join up with Jr. I wonder what Cody is doing? Last I heard he was working with Vinnie..

Should be a pretty good season.

I use to watch the show for the frst couple of seasons then it got a little old. But I am watching the new season. And I too and glad Vinnie is back. I like when Pau Sr. said to Jr. that the business is woth $0 and Jr. says well good I will buy your 80%.

Nub is apparently going to paint bikes also for Paul Jr., which will certainly piss senior off.

The lawsuits between Sr. and Jr. are entirely real, and not drama points on Discovery.

Sr. is kind of fucked in that they way over expanded the business and built that monstrosity of a new building and finances have been tight ever since as the bike market has taken a turn and Jr. left.

Without all the overhead his father is carrying, JR has a chance to make it possibly as he has much of the staff helping him that got OCC off the ground and he doesn't have a fraction of the overhead Sr. has to deal with.

That was a great comeback.
