Appears to be the case. Ohio Media Watch has an item on it, and it appears to be confirmed on the station manager's Twitter.
Too bad, I know they dreaded the 2010 contract renew, afraid they wouldn't get a "fair" deal....and they talked about it a lot.
One of the comments on the OMW post said he was offered a 6 figure salary and turned it down.
That show had to have huge ratings, and brough in a ton of ad revenue, but with this economy and the way Clear channel has been operating lately (they didn't want to pay Matt Patrick supposedly) it's not a surprise.
Good show they had going, it was good radio, informative and funny.
