Just spent the weekend with the wife and another couple. We rented a house on a 600 acres with a couple of ponds and had a great time. Did some fishing and alot of hiking. The locals were very nice people.

I was a little suprised of how you can walk right to the edge of a 100 foot drop. If a private individual owned this the state would have riquired rails and fencing to protect the idiots. I guess its OK for the state to not have these.

I went there for a couple of days over spring break. Had a really good time. We had a cabin with no cable and no phone. It was first time I went on vacation and could not watch T.V. or use my cell. Pretty quiet two days. very relaxing though.

I reccomend the canopy tour that they offer down there. It takes a couple hours but its a good time.

We had satelite TV, Phone, hot tub and cold beer.

I did cook a hot dog on the fire. Is that considered "Roughing It"? LOL
