In the morning with my coffee I look out and watch the birds feeding it’s nice to watch.
Do you feed the birds?
We have a Yankee Whipper
and a Hummingbird feeder and a Suet Feeder.
The Woodpeckers like the Suet Feeder and we haven’t had many Hummingbirds this year.
We do feed the bird all year round..

Nope..feed the squirrels though. And in turn, the squirrels fall off the feeders and feed my dogs. OK, so that only happened once.

We have a "finch sock". They are pretty awesome. Sometimes we'll have 8 bright yellow finches feeding at one time. What's nice about these socks is that the squirls can't get into them.

Yellow Finch are great but i don't want the Thisle to be growing in the flower beds. That is the only reason I don't get my seed with thisle or feed the Finches.
I did get our first Hummingbird this morning so I put out some fresh sugar water.

Belly, to be truthful, we don't have any drop offs from the sock. They are pretty tight woven. It's never been a problem with unwanted thisle. I highly suggest recommend them.

Belly, the actual sock is dirt cheap too. You can get a sock for like a $1-$2. Again, what's so nice is that the finches are so brightly colored. It is nothing for us numerous finches on the sock at one time.
