All the Right Moves
That movie is the one that comes nearest to showing what high school football is like in towns in much Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia.

I voted Rudy but it is a very hard choice between Rudy, Remember The Titans and Friday Night Lights. All are great football movies!!

I will go with Any Given Sunday because of Pacino's speech before the playoff game. The Longest Yard (the old one, not the new one, which doesn't exist to me) would be my top, but it wasn't on the poll. If documentaries count, Go Tigers was a good one. If you count series, I would go with Playmakers as well. I wish ESPN didn't puss out and cancel the show. HBO really needs to buy the show. That show was definitely meant for HBO, and it was a good one.
Here is a list of most football movies. There are definitely some classics we are leaving out. http://www.bostonbaseball.com/football_movies/

All the Right Moves has always been my personal favorite. Like someone else said the movie reminded me a lot of high school football most particularly in the Ohio Valley area/Western PA.
Another movie I always liked that has not been mentioned is Best of TImes, starring Robin Williams and Kurt Russell. It was pretty hilarious IMO plus there were some great football scenes.
The Longest Yard remake was a bastardization of the original.

Thanks! I was trying to figure out the name of that movie. It was bugging me.

Vince Vaughn's performance in Rudy is what puts it over the top for me.

I went Rudy, and had it as my first post. But Remember the Titans, especially the training camp before the season actually starts, is a very very close second. The first part of Remember the Titans is actually my favorite, but as a whole Rudy wins.

Radio, since it was based on a true story, then Remember the Titans for the same reason.
I can't stand Friday Night Lights, because they changed history just to make a better ending to the movie.

That, and it was unrealistic. The players had under armour which definitely wasn't around in 1989, and the Dallas Carter players were grown ass men with full beards.
