I had the same thought when he "announced" earlier this week; we have 'been here, done that' before.
for the record, I threw my vcash at the idea that his ego will not let him stay away.......
he will keep coming back until he either embarrasses himself, or the GM or owners stop offering, and I think we aren't there yet.

Just an FYI... I am changing the deadline to Sunday August 8th. Favre reportedly has an appointment sometime next week with Dr Andrews so it could be made public as early as Monday.

Well I'd rather not have it open when he announces whether he is going to play or not. He has an appointment with the doctor who performed the surgery on his ankle sometime this week. I don't want someone coming on here and betting everything on him playing the minute after he announces he will play.

this needs to be settled now, the Vikes have announced his return.
taking a regular season snap is ambiguous for everyone in the NFL until after that gigantic and way-too-long preseason is over.
The intention of the book was, will Favre return, yet again, for another season, despite his ankle, and age, to the NFL..............
