I wanted a thread for the whole site to able to come on and get brief updates on teams not everyone follows. For example: I live in NE Ohio I typically don't visit threads about teams from say Western Ohio.

So use this thread for a brief almost Twitter like update on your team so we get a sense of what is going on, and if we like what we read we can read more in depth on a different thread.

Be proud of your team, but be objective, and not too big of a homer.

Triway plays rival West Holmes at home in week 1. Last year Triway led 27-7 going into the 4th quarter and lost 28-27 @ West Holmes.

I remember that game well. I literally could not speak until I got home. I was in shock.

Kettering Alter plays Cleveland East Tech in game 2 this year in Kettering. Last year East Tech lost to McKinley 80-something to 0!!! Looks like Alter might win at least one game this season...

Wooster used to play East. It was horrendous to watch. I remember one year they played at Wooster. East had maybe a dozen fans there. But guess who won the 50/50 that night!

Yep, an East fan.

Massillon looked good in their 4way scrimmage today with Perry, Northwest & Lexington, the Soph QB's are progressing nicely, and Massillon was able to move the ball through the air, and on the ground despite their #1 and #2 runningbacks not having one single carry. Massillon's defense is quick and they ALL run to the ball, and they get there in a bad mood. Perry looked somewhat impressive considering they have run the wing T since about 1982 and are now running somewhat of a multiple look.

Here's hoping everyone stays healthy during these scrimmages, you never want to see a kid get hurt on the field, but you damn sure don't want to see it during a scrimmage.
