I would have to say Durant is the front runner with James out of the equation.

I still think it's Lebron's to lose. He is the best and most exciting player in the NBA, and although he probably won't score as much, he will be just as dominant.

I don't see how it could go to anyone else if he averages a triple-double.

Durant....he will have crazy stats.

Side note...I didn't realize Durant was a 90% foul shooter....

1.) Durant
2.) LBJ

3.) CP3
4.) Howard
5.) Kobe

My Top 5.

Kobe, Howard, and CP3 are all interchangeable in my mind.

If LeBron tears his ACL the heat will still succeed. If Durant tears his ACL, the thunder won't succeed. I will go with Durant winning MVP as that is how the voters usually base their votes.

Doesn't matter. The real MVP is determined in Mid April thru Mid June, and we all know who is the reigning back to back MVP for that season.

Durant, Kobe, and Wade are the candidates. You can't be the MVP if you aren't the best player on your team.

That would eliminate Wade from consideration.

So Bosh is the best player on the Heat?

I know you honestly don't believe that Wade is a better player then LeBron.

I think its gonna be Durant. Lebitch is dominate but I think playing with guys like Wade and Bosh will hurt his chances. I think the voters will be hesitant to vote for him

Enough with all these NBA threads, it's the gayest "league" on television. It's gonna be Kobe or LeBron, cuz they're the NBA's favorite players. The finals will be Lakers and either Heat or Celtics. NBA sucks donkey dick, I hope that league crumbles.

I liked this post. I enjoy the NBA but I can see what you're saying. I honestly think the league is headed for a lockout. As Joe Tait put it this afternoon "the inmates are starting to run the asylum". I think the league is teetering in a big way

Really? You've got a WWE avatar and you want to make fun of the NBA?

I'm a huge fan of WWE, but also enjoy the NBA. How's the saying go, those is glass houses should cast stones?

I realized Wade was the better player after Game 5 of the Boston series (when was still a Cavalier). LeBron's always had great physical talent, but he never could shoot, and when he showed that he was a quitter, that removed him from the best player discussion.

I used to like it, when it was basketball..in the 1990's. It's the same teams and same people now.

It was still "basketball" and not near as political back then as it is now.

In the 2000's The champs have been the same as well.

Lakers 5, Spurs 3, Celts 1, Pistons 1.
