He'll join Thierry Henry and Juan Pablo Angel as DP signings. Instant fanbase, signing the Mexican captain.

This team is loaded. Even if you think Henry was washed up, Marquez isnt.

Despite the fact I hate him for Mexico, I LOVE his game and versatility, especially for Barcelona. This is a GREAT signing for the MLS. Maybe bigger than the others (sans Beckham) because he will bring all the Mexican love and support now. Great, great signing for the MLS and NY Red Bulls.

Great signing for the Red Bulls and the league. Any updates on Ronaldinho to the Galaxy rumors?

Well I'm one of the ones who think Henry is pretty washed up, but I completely agree with your post. What a coup for New York.

Oops, you're right. I'm gonna punch my friend in the throat for telling me that this morning.

lol, I was going to post that along with the Ronaldinho response, but it wasnt a rumor anymore because he was with Shalke. It DID have some legs starting last year, but talk quieted down when he made it pretty clear he wanted to play in the Champions League again. I wouldnt be surprised if hes in America after this contract....unfortunately right now he could rival Henry as best forward, bu tin 2 years he will be really old.
