Here is a Conservative who is level-headed ,willing to work across the aisle,and give the President Obama when he thinks he needs it and questions him when he thinks he should.

He 's a Moderate, not a Far Right conservative and is why he is not well liked by the R party. They'll run him out of the party too as they have done to other Moderates. Cannibalizing the party is fine with me. Just keeps moving Independents over to the D column.

You like him because he is a liberal R. He is closer to a one party system than a 2 party system. We need to move closer to a multiple party system not a one party like this chode represents.

I was with you until you said "Here is a Conservative", and then I laughed really hard for awhile and couldn't type a response. I've never heard one politician (except maybe McCain) talk out of both sides of his mouth more than Graham.

Most of the time Graham is a RINO. Republicans like him are the very reason that I left the Republican Party prior to the 2008 election. What's the point of having different parties if they espouse the same things? My advice to the Republicans after the election in 2010 is that they better back up all the talking they've done or the Tea Party will kick them right back out in 2012. The American people are tired of politicians from both parties saying whatever they have to to get elected only to act like gods that answer to no one once they are sworn into office.

He knows the Repubs are targeting him and this is his only hope to win favor on the other side of the aisle. He's only concerned about getting to play "in power", and not take it back.

The Republicans will make gains in November..no doubt, But they WILL NOT make enough gains to take back either house of Congress.
I would not be the least bit suprised to see Lindsey Graham in one of the following two roles in 2012:
1.Replacing Hilliary is SECSTATE if she replaces Biden as VP
2.Graham himself replacing Biden as the VP Nominee

Agree. This is a Mid-term election in stress times. No questions Rs will pick up seats. Party out of power always does. But watch what happens in '12. Ds will still control both houses. And the demographic time bomb keeps on ticking .

He is trying to position himself ala Charlie Crist. He has no backbone and routinely caves to the political winds. Some call this act, "bipartisanship". This is where the Republican or Conservative throws their principles in the toilet and agree with an elitist on how to gain and hold even more power over people.
