Question....when we begin setting up football games we'll likely have the betting thread up several days before the game. Is it recommended we set the line/odds whatever and then a few days closer to the game we find out of key injuries or some key player missing a game........do we keep the odds the same as we initially set them or adjust them slightly to make them more accurate.
Ex....Steelers are -7.5 and then on Friday learn that Polamalu and Roethlisberger will not play....leave it or change it some?

You gotta leave it because I believe it pays out based on the final line, not what line the person bet at.

When I did my first NASCAR thread, I set the odds absurdly low, and ended up adjusting them because they were so bad. Those that bet beforehand still had the old odds showing on the page where you can see who bet what. Had those bets come in, they would have paid at the odds at which they were bet and not the final one, or so it appears.
There are at least 2 examples of it on the link below... the bets of GoChiefs and sonofanump
